Ipad air 2020 not responding?

I got an Ipad air 2020 from my mother for my birthday and was very happy because I had wanted it for a long time.
I got my ipad about 1 month and 2 weeks ago and it worked just fine. Used it for all sorts of things. For example for school because because of Corona we always had online lessons and also meetings or I used my Ipad for Netflix, YouTube, etc. Let's get to my problem. Last night I was watching Netflix on my Ipad and my mother just called me to her, I quickly switched off my Ipad and quickly went to her for 2 minutes. Then I went back to my room and wanted to continue watching Netflix and of course you have to turn on your Ipad. But somehow it didn't work the way I wanted it to. I can turn it on, but my iPad no longer reacts to my fingers. I wanted to enter my password to unlock it, but this is not possible because it does not react. Then I came up with the idea of restarting it. You have to press the loud button and the on / off button at the same time so that it displays this menu where you have to drag this red symbol from left to right to restart. But that doesn't work either because the screen doesn't react to my touch. That's why I can't restart it.

But I noticed something when, for example, I take a screenshot and click on this small picture, which is always displayed at the bottom left, then my touch works, so the screen reacts. When editing the screenshot, I can make the screenshot smaller or larger, or even paint it in. So that's where the touch goes.

I also looked for 2h - 3h on the Internet what I could do, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything. Often there were suggestions from other users, such as connecting the Ipad to a PC, for example, but unfortunately we don't have any.

I hope someone can answer me quickly and say what I could do, because I urgently need my Ipad again on Monday because school is starting again and I used my Ipad for everything and all the data from the last few months is on it.

You can also restart the iPad without a screen:

iPad models without the "Home" button: Briefly press the "Volume up" button. Press the Volume Down button and release it immediately. Then press and hold the power button until the device restarts.

I've tried several times, but instead of turning it off, I only turn on Siri.

Then you have the sequence with press loudly, release - press softly, release - hold power until the iPad restarts. In that order it works 100%.

Oh that's right, thank you, that worked. The only problem is that you have to drag this "red symbol" from left to right on the screen to restart it, but it doesn't even react to it.

Sorry just not sure what to call this sign on the screen haha

Ka

No, there's no red sign. This only happens if you hold down the volume and the on / off together. Read what I write and what is there on the linked website.

You briefly press loud and let it go. Then immediately quiet and let go again. Then you press on / off immediately and don't let go until the iPad reboots.

Achsoo oh sorry haha, it finally worked. I thank you, you really saved me.
