I decided to get an Ipad Pro (with keyboard and pen) or a Macbook Air 2019 soon. I would use it for presentations (with word, powerpoint, etc… ) but also for everyday things like surfing or watching netflix. My question now is whether you can create presentations with the Ipad Pro as well as with the Mac. I would like the design Possibilities of the iPad but for me the point with the presentations is in the foreground because I want to use this for the school. Is an iPad Pro just as practical for presentations as a Mac? I think the iPad is more flexible, which would make it a lot easier for me.
You're not going to want to go to school with such cheap equipment?
If I saw someone at school with an iPad Pro or MacBook Air, I would only imagine who was kidding them

It really depends on what you want to do with the device. Many graphics programs e.g. From Adobe there will be soon for the iPad. Google Docs works instead of Word. Presenting is also possible in PDF format. Therefore, I would personally choose the iPad. Being able to take notes on a touchscreen has its advantages. I also find an iPad a lot more practical for media consumption when traveling.
I personally own a MacBook Air. So if you want to work at home and also write a lot and also need more powerful programs, I would recommend this.
