I'd like to buy a new iPad for Black Friday / Cybermonday. Use currently (for youtube / netflix / surf) my IPad 4th Generation. I have already excluded the cheaper IPad 2019/2018. I would like to use the new IPad for the university with possibly pen / keyboard and continue for videos etc.
The advantages of IPad Pro 2017 are 4 speakers on both sides, better camera, 144hours display and 1 Gb more RAM. Disadvantage is the older processor. It is important to me that I get iOS updates for as long as possible.
My biggest problem with the IPad Pro 2017 I've read about is the white spot blur on the display, which seems to pop up after a while on a majority of shipped devices. Has anyone made his experience and is it really that annoying? Since the IPad Pro 2017 price-performance technology seems quite interesting, I would be interested in the opinion of others.
The iPad Air 2019 is more than adequate and up to date. Whether it is the long-term test must be seen yet.
The Pro is bigger and more cumbersome on the go. Also more prone to bending and broken glass.
