I wanted to wish my parents an Ipad for my birthday, which I want to use for school. I'm in 8th grade and I've already told the teacher about the ipad, he said that it is realistic to work with the ipad in school, but he just has to clarify it. Now the question for you. I want to buy an Ipad Pro 2018 model or an Ipad air 4th generation because the others are simply too expensive. Should I buy the Ipad Pro 12.9 inches or is 11 inches enough, what do you think? Do you have experiences yourself? And is 64 GB enough for you? On my mobile phone I have 128 of the 80GB occupied, but I also have a lot of unnecessary stuff on it. I mainly want to work with the Ipad for school and now and then watch YouTube or Netflix more but probably not.
I would take the iPad Air 4 if the new Pro doesn't fit into the budget.
If you actually only use it for what you described, 64Gb will be enough. I doubt it though.
I have 12.9 inches myself, because I use it for writing and the 12.9 inches is simpler and more practical than 11 inches for writing (mainly because of the size). 64 GB is enough.
It depends on whether you want a screen diagonal of almost 5cm more or not.

I believe that you can best answer the question about the display size: go to MediaMarkt or, even better, Gravis or an AppleStore and take a look at the devices live. Pick it up and see what you can handle better.
Nobody will be able to answer the question about storage capacity for sure either. It depends on what you want to save on the iPad. 64GB is big enough for apps for school, a few games, music, photos (but it depends on how much you load on it).
So, if I were you I would see what size you can handle and then take the corresponding iPad ;-)
