At the moment I'm still a little unsure which iPad to get for school. Either the iPad Air 2020 or the normal iPad 2020 the eighth generation. What would you take Of course, price-performance ratio too. Do you think the size of the iPad 2020 eighth generation is enough or do you need a large iPad for school. Please vote in the vote you would really help me. (I only use it for school plus Netflix) what you also have to say I already have the Apple Pencil of the I generation, if I would buy the iPad Air I would have to buy the other one.

The air is easily enough for school.
Even a 50 Euro Android tablet is enough. Didn't even need a tablet in 13 school years.

fo

Is it worth the price? Because the normal is 200 euro cheaper

Bu

For a bit of Word, social media and Netflix? No, it's not worth the price at all. Every 50 euro tablet packs that.

IPad is expensive! Background: I'm completely messed up (iPad 2018, Watch, Mac mini M1, Phone 8) BUT iPad is expensive! Isso - scythe! So you should take a slip of paper and write down what your requirements are.

Are you already an Apple user (then that's a plus point for the iPad), what are your computing power requirements? (Video editing?) Then the new iPd pro M1 could bring you something. The thing has so much processing power that some wonder if it's overpowered.

Just want a tablet like that? - I would recommend the simple iPad - 128 GB of storage and that's good. If you have a Hunni left, you can buy the completely overpriced Pencil. Works great for handwritten notes - software is included. If you don't want to spend the money, a Samsung tablet is certainly fine.

Somehow it's always the decision between Apple or not Apple.

Jo

It is significantly better than the iPad 2020. It is worth it

fo

Yes, I want to ONLY use it for school, so take notes. Do you think the normal iPad 8 is enough?

Gu

Absolutely. Since software version 14.5, the handwriting recognition system "scribble" understands the German language. With the corresponding app you can write like on a notepad and it becomes editable text. Umlauts ß etc. Included. I use the Agenda app - but there are also others.

Thanks to iCloud, you no longer need such a huge storage space. Unless you want to save loads of (!) Videos and pictures.

So the iPad (without plus and pro and air and wasweißich) is absolutely sufficient for your purposes. The pen "Pencil" costs n 'Hunni on top (which I think is pig expensive) but is just great for handwriters and draftsmen. If you don't need it then you don't need it.
