I've had an iPad Air 3 for a good six months. I bought it for university last year and for this reason downloaded GoodNotes. However, when using the app, my iPad gets incredibly hot. My friend, who also has an iPad, but the normal iPad, but the latest generation, also uses GoodNotes and her iPad doesn't even get warm. We both use the PEN 1st generation. With other apps, such as Netflix or Prime, my iPad does not warm up.
Now I wonder whether this is really due to the GoodNotes app or the iPad. I can't imagine a writing app using so much power on the iPad. I don't play games or the like on it.
If I could I would go to the store, but unfortunately that is not possible. I have not taken out AppleCare or whatever the warranty is called, but if it is the iPad and there's a technical defect, then the warranty claims should apply.
Have you also had experiences with it? Especially when using GoodNotes?
First make settings that are not important but require a lot of performance, such as: background updates, deactivate screen time, deactivate location services for unnecessary apps, and much more…
if this does not work then restart the iOad and store the app and store it again
if none of this works then it's up to the app
