Broken screen how can I best explain this

Hello, I recently had an accident while watching Netflix, my screen fell over, that sounds very implausible at first, but hopefully not after what comes next.

It started out so I wanted to set up my screen so that I can watch Netflix from my bed, so I put my screen pretty close to the table that I see more than I can after a pizza

again my monitor was lying on the table in such a way that the edge of the table destroyed my monitor.

The biggest problem with the whole thing is that I already destroyed a screen out of anger so she won't buy the story from me!

Ma

Buy your next screen yourself. Perhaps you will then learn that you should be gentle with a monitor and not destroy it out of anger and / or put it on an edge where you already know that it will not end well.

Si

I thought it would hold up somehow, but thanks for the answer 🙏🏽

Kr

The screen has never been so damaged by its own weight when it tipped over. 🙄 That is more than unbelievable…

Then organize a cheap (or even free) used one on eBay classifieds.

As a parent, I wouldn't buy you a new one if that's the second one too…

Si

Bro, I don't know how it happened, if I throw my mouse or something in there then it looks completely different

Kr

But your description of the course of the damage contradicts the damage.
You write that your screen hit the edge of your table and was damaged in the process.
However, the edge is elongated and would have left a completely different damage pattern than the current monitor shows. The force applied to this monitor was only selective. Something hit exactly that point.
I can't say whether you hit something against it or something else, I wasn't there. But even if the monitor had fallen on something sharp on your desk, I deeply doubt that this damage would have occurred - because the weight of the monitor would almost certainly not have been enough to cause such damage…

In any case, the edge of the table is definitely not to blame and anyone outside can see that immediately. This makes it clear to anyone outside that your story is not true - that certainly doesn't make your parents' reaction any better…

In the end, you have to know what you are saying to your parents - I'm just telling you that your parents will see right through you, that at least your statement may not be true if they think a little bit logically and have an imagination of how damage can occur and then the damage pattern can look like and how not…

Si

Corner sry that you want it so exactly you want a picture of the corner or how

Kr

You asked. And I looked at your description and your statement with your previous history, as I would do it if you were my son and I would actually be annoyed that - why and however - a screen was broken again… You can do it but of course just tell your parents how you want and see how they see it.
