So yesterday I asked the question, but something came to that;
Yesterday I bought a Macbook Pro 2019 with touchbar at Saturn. This went out constantly, directly in the first 2 minutes (although there were 90% battery or so). Today I gave it back to Saturn and got a new device for it. The staff said that (of course) it is not normal if the device just goes off by itself, unless you look Netflix, then the Macbook would not "notice" that you use the laptop, as it may be that it goes out by itself.
So, now I have got a new Macbook, so everything went well, it was used for about 2-3 hours, and only Netflix looked. Then he suddenly went out. I could not put it on with the on / off button, but only with the charger (yesterday was synonymous only so). Anyway, I have the laptop then connected to the battery, I was hoping that maybe just the battery is empty, unfortunately there were still 63% battery in it.
When I unpacked the Macbook, it was already 100% fully loaded. Now I just closed my Macbook to battery and turned off.
Is the Macbook broken now, or was it because I watched Netflix? The employee said yes, that can happen when watching Netflix. However, I have no desire to persuade me that it was only due to Netflix. Although I really hope so. Can't be that I have already bought a defective device again.
I do not know if it matters: I have set the battery that my monitor, etc. Never go out by itself (?). So if you go to the battery level, you can adjust so that something goes out after some time by itself, etc. (I do not remember exactly what is there and now my Macbook does not open to look, because I want to fully charge it. I've never had a Macbook before, so I do not know it by heart or know it at all.)
So, can someone help me please? Has that happened to you? Is it due to Netflix? On the device? What should I do?
I totally despair!
This is not because of Netflix but because of certain activities that are not seen as such on Safari and put the Macbook into sleep mode. If you then press the on / off switch, the Macbook goes down.
Wake it up with a swipe on the touchpad or pressing any key on the Macbook.
However, if you want to turn off that the Macbook goes into sleep mode by itself you have to do the following:
At the top left click on the apple or key Command + spacebar and energy saving enter
system settings
Saving energy (such a light bulb)
Turn off the monitor after time x or never
Thank you for your answer.
However, I could not wake up the laptop, which only came on again when I charged it.
I had also set monitor off, but not as you described, but on battery. So I just pressed on the percentage of the battery level and set it there. Is that the same as what you described?
It is not quite the same, in fact.
It does not help if your battery is still full enough, but your screen will go off after the predefined time.
Does your Macbook already have MacOs Catalina?
Do you think my Macbook is broken again (like the one I bought yesterday) or was it just Safari, Netflix or something this time?
I do not know. Know me 0 with it. Do I have to download this extra? If so, then I do not have it yet.
No I do not think your Macbook is broken.
Every manufacturer certainly has broken, but I work privately and professionally with the Apple eco-system and can say that these devices are really reliable and durable.
I think rather, and that is not meant to be evil, you have to deal with it a little first. Because switching from Windows to Mac is always more difficult than expected.
To your question to find out which MacOS version you are using:
top left on the apple
about this Mac
then there's MacOS Catalina or MacOS Mojave
Click on Software Update. If necessary, install All Updates
Incidentally, Apple offers an introduction to your new Macbook for free. That will help you:
Ok, great, thanks for your helpful answer!
Yes, I definitely know 0 with the Macbook. I was just scared that now, like my Macbook, that I bought yesterday, it's broken. That really went out every 3-4 minutes. The employees at Saturn have also tested it again and said that it is actually defective.
Then I let the laptop still charge to 100% and then do everything you've suggested to me. Hopefully it will work! Thanks again!
I hope you can possibly help me again, if the problem has not resolved afterwards? 😅
Do not hesitate, because it was not with a swipe on the touchpad or pressing any key again, but only with the charging cable.

Of course I'm on this platform.
It's hard to start, but believe me, if you've got your hands on, then you will not want to miss your Macbook anymore.
Incidentally, Apple is expensive as you have noticed. However, the support is also great! You can call Apple Technical Support at any time for free, then use your Apple ID to look at your Macbook and tell you if something is wrong with the device or not.
Either by phone: 0800 6645 451 or via Live Chat at: https://support.apple.com/....com/de-de
Plug in the charging cable, make all updates, then close the Macbook and let the charging cable turn on overnight.
It is usually the case that the battery capacity only starts to accumulate after a few charges. Use it for 2 weeks and really always very long (over night) recharge, no matter what the battery level says.
You do not need to despair, you have a guarantee. But do not turn to Saturn in the warranty case, but directly to Apple.
Danke.
Great, thanks for your advice. Then I'll do it, if the problem persists!
Thank you very much.
