Does it make a difference whether I watch the indy 1 season on the netflix series last chance you or do I have to watch emcc 1 season first?

So I would like to watch the series last chance u. I've watched 1 2 episodes before. Only i saw today there are emcc 1 2 season and indy 1 2 season. Does it make a difference whether I watch indy and then emcc or do I have to start with emcc? Do they have a connection?
