Does it make a difference whether a UHD (= 4k) film is streamed to a 4k television via Netflix or whether you watch it via a Blue Ray player?
If your internet connection is too slow, the film will be reloaded in between. I'm not familiar with Netflix, but if e.g. In the case of a YouTube video the quality is set to "Automatic", this is reduced so that the line runs smoothly. Someone who is familiar with Netflix would have to answer this.
Ok, I know it from a friend, with him there are no loading problems with 4k films I just wonder if a 4k film on Vlue Ray might be better quality than how streamed, because of compression or something, provided there are no loading problems… But I think 4k is 4k and done, there's no difference when you hide internet problems or?
If the internet is running, the film streamed in 4k will have the same quality as that on Blu-ray
Unfortunately there's a big difference. 4K is not always 4K. With the UHD Bluray, up to 50Mbit / s are possible, with Netflix only 15. You can tell that very well in the picture, but much better with a good system in the sound. Many films on Bluray / UHD BD offer HD soundtracks with a data rate of ~ 15Mbit, while on Netflix you can get a maximum of Dolby Digital Plus with ~ 6Mbit.
Real smears in the image can be seen very clearly in dark areas of the image, where macro blocks, i.e. Artifacts, occur very strongly.
Unfortunately, no.
Okay, yes, of course, if Netflix doesn't stream with more bandwidth, it won't work
