I'm specifically looking for apps like Netflix and Amazon to be able to play a used Blu-ray player capable of Wi-Fi. The costs about 50-60 euro needed.
I want to connect this to an old flat screen TV (not smart TV and no media library) and play these apps via Blu-ray. Has HDMI. So it's not my main TV.
Now I found on Blu-ray player following model: panasonic dmp-bdt23
Unfortunately, the seller can't confirm whether this model has apps and on the Internet, I found nothing about it just what you can surf the Internet and query emails thus indirectly it could be like this. But I do not want to bid for it if it is not like that later…

If that was not a top model, you can usually forget the apps.
Buy an Amazon Fire TV Stick and everything is fine. I think I'm on offer instead of 40 only 25 euro.
