Hi, I have the Teufel Ultima 40 5.1 system and have connected my PC and a Blu-ray player (both via HDMI).
I wanted to watch a Blu-ray and a YouTube YouTube surround test.
In the surround test, it was so that when the two rear LSs were playing only the front ones were playing and the rear ones were always playing very quietly.
The same was true for the Blu-ray (although the player software supports Dolby Surround and the 5.1 track is recognized). I also set the audio settings in Windows 10 to 5.1 and also studio quality.
When I looked over the Blu-ray player, it was really the case with the Blu-ray that the LS played the background tones, the center mainly voices and the two stereo the whole main tones. How it should be. Even in Netflix.
Why is that with the PC? What else do I have to change?
If you have Windows 10: right-click on the small speaker on your taskbar, there are surround options.
Would have been my first thought
I have activated that. That's why it confuses me.
Is everything correct with the drivers?
And that is, among other things, wrong… This is intended, for example, for surround sound via headphones
Unfortunately there was no improvement after I deactivated it again
