How do I turn off Chromecast or Netflix Surround on my Google?
Unfortunately, my TV does not support surround and whenever I watch Netflix and the series is available in surround, I have no sound.
It is always very annoying to switch on my cell phone and to deactivate it after every episode.
Maybe you can change something here:
Change sound settings
You can adjust the bass and treble on speakers or displays from Google Nest or Google Home, Chromecast audio devices, and speakers with a built-in Chromecast. You can find these settings in the Google Home app under the "Equalizer settings" option.
Make sure your mobile device or tablet https://support.google.com/...er/7360025 like your Google Nest or Google Home devices, Chromecast audio devices and speakers with integrated Chromecast technology.
Open the Google Home app.
Tap the device whose settings you want to change.
Tap Equalizer Settings in the top right.
Adjust bass and treble.
maybe here a point to deactivate.
or also look here:
Full dynamic range
Chromecast Audio supports full dynamic range output quality. This means that high-quality, professional audio devices such as hi-fi systems, AV receivers and monitor speakers can deliver optimal sound quality.
Connect the Chromecast Audio to such an audio system using a 3.5mm or RCA analog cable. https://support.google.com/...er/6280276" class="text-primary">https://support.google.com/...er/6280276 Then do the following to enable the "Full Dynamic Range" option on the Chromecast Audio:
Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast Audio.
Open the Google Home app.
Tap your Chromecast audio.
Tap Settings at the top right of the screen.
Scroll to "Video Settings" tap on Full Dynamic Range.
Activate the setting. (Reverse here, of course)
Note: Many conventional speaker systems such as computer, docking, Bluetooth and portable speakers are not intended for such a dynamic range. As a result, the volume is very high and the tones sound a bit distorted. In this case you should not activate this setting.
When you connect Chromecast Audio through an optical interface, Full Dynamic Range is automatically activated. https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6280276 In this case you can't deactivate Full Dynamic Range. The function always remains activated.
Would have been nice if I got something to match my question and not something pre-made. It has nothing to do with my question.
But shows that you are concerned about helping, but…
Gave up when I couldn't find "equalizer settings".
