Software update on ipad?

To download eg Netflix down I need according to ipad "iOS 12.0 or newer." In the general settings under software update is "iOS 10.3.3 your software is up to date."

Ps. The Ipad is from 2012 and was locked since 2013 and was thus only on the cabinet.

May be that the i pad is too old for IOS 12.0
