Yes, my one grandma was into dystopias, Soylent Green and that sort of thing, she would have found something on Netflix.
Of course, if your grandma just watches Musikantenstadl and Wetten Dass, things will get worse.
My other grandma couldn't have done much with Netflix either.

It depends on what series your grandma likes, e.g. Did my grandparents watch a lot of crime series like The Blacklist. So did I and I liked the series but write what your grandma is a fan of, if she likes documentaries, then I can recommend Tiger King to her.
Yes, there are documentaries and films that your grandma might like, but there are a lot of teen series that definitely dominate.
I'm 68 and I also watch netflix. Of course there are series that are also something for older people. Starting with Tannbach, Weißensee, Charite to heart-pain stuff like Velvet or Grand Hotel. Right now I'm watching The Crown. But Outlander etc. Are definitely something for my generation. Or Miss Fisher's. Then there are the documentaries, so there are quite a few.

I already have a subscription and there would still be a place free. It was only about whether it would be worthwhile to give a tablet especially for it. Not that in the end she doesn't find anything that interests her
