We have a Samsung Smart TV at home. Now this is also a bit older and so, thanks to a system update, we were only able to install the older version of Netflix. But there are also problems because I can't change the profile. Now I would like to install the Youtube app, only I can't find it anywhere.
Does YouTube no longer support this provider (i.e. Smart TV)?
How could I theoretically bring Youtube to my screen differently?
This is what my TV's Smart Hub menu looks like. So an older model.
Amazon Fire TV Stick.
Via the browser!
Or stream by mobile phone
Or Google Chromecast.
You could use an Amazon Fire Stick or Google Chromcast. These are actually external Smart TVs that you plug into an HDMI connection on your TV. All apps run in the current version.
My tip to you would be if you have a laptop you can turn it on to your TV via HDMI and watch YouTube on the laptop and the screen will be transferred to the TV. If you don't have a laptop, there are adapters for iPhone and Android where you can transfer the screen of the cell phone to the TV. And if all of that isn't Gates, Telekom has the opportunity to buy the receiver, YouTube and Netflix and Co. Are also there.
Thanks, have a laptop, it should work.
