With my new 4k Samsung tv there are purple artifacts in the black area of the film bar and I investigated that it is most likely due to the line. But the 100 Mbits arrive. So why are there artifacts anyway? You can see them especially when you get close and do you think that it works better with a Fire Tv Stick or is it the device because it has other problems anyway?
PS: I only watch streaming services like Netflix.
Are the artifacts worth levels in the black? If so, you can't get rid of them because that's compression. However, to be on the safe side, I would take another look at what actually matters to you in terms of Internet performance.
I have the same artifacts with a 1gbit line
Have you tried a physical disk just to be on the safe side?
I don't have anything like that
So does that mean that no matter which 4k TV you have these artifacts? Because something like that didn't happen with my old full hd TVs
It could also be that your TV has poor contrast. If possible, you should therefore cast an uncompressed image on the television. E.g. A ps4 and blu-ray.
Was the 4k TV cheap? Cheap panels have bad values. My uncle bought one for 250 euro and it's awesome ghosting. But he doesn't notice
So with the Ps4 the artifacts do not come and the television has already cost 800-900 so is a Qled Q70t
So the ps4 also streams Netflix, but you don't get artifacts?
No, but the artifacts are only ever seen in a film bar and not in the picture in general, I think something is with the frequency
Then I feel like it's backlight bleeding. Can you take a picture? Would be an exchange reason
Do you mean that bright backlight in dark scenes? Yes, I have that in all four corners and I'll send him back anyway. Can you see what it looks like on my fourth question.
Yes that is backlight bleeding. There's nothing you can do except send it back
