I would try the same experiment again with cable connected to the Fritzbox. There are 2 possible problems here:
1) The peering between Telekom and Instagram is overloaded: then you can do nothing, except to change the provider.
2) Your sockets do not hang in the distribution at the same phase: Then a phase coupler or another power outlet helps
