I'm considering buying the iPad Air 2020 and wonder whether an extra 180 euro for 256 GB instead of 64 GB is really worth it…
I intend to use it for school (at home) and use it for training or university after graduation (I'm in year 13). Don't have many photos and also 50GB of iCloud storage. Purpose would be for GoodNotes, i.e. Transcripts and learning slips etc and a little entertainment: Netflix, Youtube etc.
Can someone assess whether the 64GB is enough for me?
64 GB is sufficient for approx. 25,000 photos. If you have more, then I would go for the bigger iPad. But if you can handle an additional 50GB iCloud, you don't need more.
If you want to use the iPad for more than 5 years and also want to save videos and films on it, then you definitely need the larger iPad.
Personally, I bought the 32GB iPad 2020 version because I have a lot less data or photos and don't want to save videos or films on it.
Still, if you put it in the month, 180 euro is not much to use in the next 5 years.
So: Conclusion: buy the bigger one!
