Is it normal if you never go to parties, although you want?

My brother is constantly invited to parties or has girls to visit or something. I would also like to go to parties, but somehow I will never be invited and the people around me never do any (as far as I know). I already have some friends, but with the rest of my class (I'm now in the 10th) I have almost nothing to do. Most of the time I associate my weekends with being home and reading or reading Netflix. I would not call myself a nerd, but others always label me as a nerd. So far I've never had a boyfriend or real kiss or anything. Is it funny, if you want to do something exciting in life, but still nothing happens?

Do not put yourself under pressure, you do not have to be like the standard of today.

If you only hang around at home alone, less can happen.

The few friends you have will do something from time to time. Just ask them to take you with you. Just waiting for someone to ask is the wrong way.
