MacBook sound gone with videos?

So my sound on YouTube and Netflix videos works great, you can't complain. BUT when I make my own videos at Photo Booth, you hear nothing… What could be the reason and what can you do there?

Then the mic is off. Check under System Settings - Sound - when entering what has been selected here.

In addition, the microphone can be deactivated under security.
