Is the TV too old?

I have an older Grundig television and would like to know if I can somehow watch Netflix on it, I also have a blu-ray recorder from Sony where I can normally access the Internet, but when I open Netflix on the Internet and want to watch something the screen just goes black and nothing happens. Maybe someone has an idea why this is or how I can normally watch netflix

That the screen just goes black and nothing happens is not because of the TV.
Would say that it is because of the Blu-Ray recorder.
How old is the television?
The best thing to do is to get a Fire TV Stick from Amazon or a Google Chromecast Stick that turns every TV into a Smart TV, and also have a Fire TV Stick, I can only recommend it from 40 euro 😊

Just buy an HDMI switcher and connect a Fire TV Stick and a BlueRay player then you can do whatever you want shouldn't cost more than 80 euro!
Look for something like "clear cache" under the settings of your Blu Ray device. Or something in the direction of "factory reset". Sometimes apps like Netflix go away afterwards.
Regarding TV: is it a smart TV? I don't know about Grundig. But for some here it would make sense to see a photo from the back so that you can see the model name.

The easiest way would be to either connect the TV to your laptop / computer via HDMI or to get a FireTV stick.
Is quite old on the TV as far as I know there would be no internet.
It's best to get a stick with Netflix on it, e.g. A Fire TV stick or something.
or buy a new TV doesn't have to be that expensive.
