MacBook best in the long term?

I will soon have to buy a new laptop, before I always had Windows laptops in the price segment between 600 and 800 euro.

Unfortunately, I have the impression that after two years at the latest they work much slower and cause problems more often. (I try to take all important measures to keep it tidy and "clean")

When I look at my friends with MacBooks, I often hear that they have been using them for years without any noticeable loss of performance.

So is a MacBook worth it in the long run? I don't want to have to buy a new device every two or three years.

I mainly use the device for studies, Netflix / YouTube and small Photoshop work.

Yes, I've also been using MacBook Pro for 3 years and still runs like it did on 1 day, so it's worth it

You're on the right track. A macbook would be more worthwhile in the long term than another notebook. I also have a MacBook and have been using it for a year (it's not that long) but I haven't seen anything bad with it so far

Definitely. Since the software macos is specially made for the devices, the performance is much better and even after years it is still optimized.

with cheap windows devices it is not even optimized when buying it.

I still have a macbook from 2014 that runs smoothly and is still up-to-date with photoshop and premiere pro
