Watch films via the big screen app?

There's an app for VR headsets called Big Screen. You can use it to watch films rented there with friends. There's a collaboration with Paramount Pictures for that. But it is also possible to share your own screen and you could also use it to play films, either via Netflix, Amazon Prime and Co or via disc. The meeting for this takes place online. Can I watch movies with my friends through this app by sharing my screen with them?

I don't think that's legally ok, but if you're honest, what should happen? As long as you only play your monitor, I think that's totally harmless. I also stream anime for myself and my friends on discord and then we watch together. There's nothing in my opinion.
