I have a browser problem. I switched from Crome to the Bing browser. Everything went well for half a year. I switched because Chrome flashed too many ads and the apps weren't blocking the ads. At Bing there was silence.
I'm a Netflix, Prime and Join customer and had no problems with Bing - the films and series started normally. Until a good 4 weeks ago. Suddenly the programs there take almost 2 minutes to start. This is still not the case with Chrome.
What could be the reason that such a problem suddenly arises? How can I change that again?
What do you mean by "Bing Browser"?
I switched from Chrome to Bing
My condolences.
The advertising is not from Chrome, but probably from some plugin or search engine that has been set as the default. The quickest option will be to delete Chrome and just reinstall it.
Bing is owned by Microsoft and is their browser. Something like Mozilla, Opera or Chrome. Bing stop.
I've done that three times. Unfortunately does not help.
You don't mean the "Bing Browser" but Microsoft Edge. It has been based on the Chrome browser since the end of 2020, contains most of its functions and only has a customized interface. Possibly Was there any adjustment in one of the last updates for the browser that are distributed via Windows Update that is now causing your problems.
Have you ever deleted your cache?
Are we really talking about a browser or do we mean Bing the search engine? In fact, I have to admit that I don't know Bing as a browser.
If a complete deinstallation and reinstallation of "bing" doesn't help then it probably doesn't necessarily have to do with it. Have you ever tried whether you have the same problem in other browsers? Chrome, firefox opera edge?
Bing browser? I have never heard of it. I only know Bing as a search engine. Bing is from Microsoft, which is why I'm assuming you might mean Edge.
Switching browsers because of too many ads is not a solution. The advertising comes from the websites themselves or you have caught something that generates advertisements. And if you've caught something, then no ad blocker might help. An ad blocker is then intended for advertisements that come directly from the website. If you've caught something that was causing these ads, an ad blocker may treat the symptoms, but the culprit won't be removed.
For example, adware can serve for advertisements. This is what you often catch during a software installation if you don't select the custom installation. If you simply click "Next" continuously during the installation, additional programs are often downloaded. In addition, the homepage / search engine can be changed and other browser settings can be manipulated.
It is therefore advisable to always select the user-defined installation when installing software. There you can remove the tick for additional offers so that nothing is additionally installed or changed. In addition, it is best to always download the programs you need from the manufacturer's website.
You can switch back to Google Chrome. As for the problems with advertising, I recommend you do a search with the AdwCleaner.
The program safely removes adware, toolbars, browser hijackers and other unwanted programs from Windows and installed browsers. The program consists of a search mode for analysis and the actual cleanup function.
You can download the program here for free: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/
After downloading the program, you can start right away; no installation is necessary. However, first close all open programs.
You start the search and at the end remove all finds by moving them to quarantine. You may end up with a second search result with preinstalled software. You don't have to check the box here. Your PC must then be restarted.
Then reset Chrome to the default settings. To do this, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Settings. Then scroll all the way down and click on Advanced. Now select the Reset settings to original defaults button at the bottom.
I also recommend uBlock Origin as an ad blocker for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/...iagm?hl=en
