I have had the problem for a long time that the sound of Netflix and Prime Video is asynchronous with me. Initially, the sound is completely normal, but after 5-10min the soundtrack starts to slow down. Depending on the number of minutes passed, this shift increases. Now and then you hear a crack in the sound. I often watch movies / TV shows over loudspeakers and from headset to headset and both have the same problem. Neither on YouTube, nor on other platforms, I have this problem. Exclusively only for Netflix and Prime Video. I've tried a lot in vain and do not know what to do next.
Do you know a solution to the problem?
In vain tried:
Change video quality
Empty browser cache
Update player
Update video driver
Browser change
Windows Updates installed
My system:
CPU: i7-6700k
RAM: 16GB DDR4 Ballistix (2x8GB)
Motherboard: Z170 Pro Gaming (ASUS)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce OC
Headset: HyperX Cloud
Speaker: Trust Gaming GXT Tytan 5.1 Surround
Are you going to American Netflix via vpn? Such a mistake is technically hardly possible…
Have you ever tried the Netflix app for Windows?
But it is possible. There are video formats in which the sound is always asynchronous with increasing video time.
No i always look over the EU version of both platforms.
No I have not. As soon as I'm at home, I'll try it right out
Do you have any ideas why that could be? It's exactly the same with prime video.
@ bloedie… No, there's not. Unless you have a 24fps video track which is underlaid with the soundtrack of a 25fps source. But Netflix does not do such a botch.
Believe it, have a look. Did that solve the problem?
Edit: Even with the Netflix app, the soundtrack had a delay. Finally, I have my computer reset and everything went again without problems.
