I'm starting studying soon and I've decided to buy a tablet with a keyboard and a pen. I also have a Macbook Air.

Now I wanted to know your opinion: Which model would you recommend?

I need it for notes, programs like PowerPoint, Outlook, Notability etc. Document Management and for Netflix, since I travel a lot.

Thank you in advance for your experiences / opinions

Best of the 2018 iPad

Gabs partly already from 200 euro to have

However, there's the current mini also like from 300-350 times

Ro

They have a storage space of 34GB if I'm not mistaken, is that enough?

Ro

Mini is the screen too small for me.

He

One can indeed buy the model with more, but the mini standard has installed 64 gb

Then maybe the air from about 400-450, but should also be sufficient for the study of the normal

For a study, a iPad is ideal. Of course, it also depends on the subject of study.

For the apps you mentioned, such as notes, PowerPoint, notability and co. In my opinion, an iPad Air would be a good choice.

The display is a good size at 10.5 ", the A12 Bionic chip should be sufficient for all applications and the largest available storage unit is 256GB. The first generation of Apple Pencil is compatible, so that notes can be taken during the lectures iPad Air also the Smart Keyboard and other Bluetooth keyboards.

Visit an Apple Store and have a look at the device. This way, you can make a more accurate impression and test the device yourself.

Here are several more detailed reviews of the iPad Air:

Otherwise, as an alternative, an iPad Pro would be a very good choice and is currently the elite of the iPad there, but the iPad Pro also costs accordingly.

Away from Apple, a look at the surface lineup from Microsoft is recommended. If you work with Windows, these devices are definitely great.

The most equivalent value for money you currently get m.E. With the new 10.5 "iPad Air (3rd generation), especially if you want to use the iPad for as long as possible - because it has the extremely powerful A12 chip (like the iPhone XS and XR) and should be the newest software for many years to come support.

Basically enough for your purposes, of course, the cheaper, also new 10.2 "iPad (7th generation), but this has the somewhat older A10 chip installed (like the iPhone 7), which is not nearly as powerful as the A12. Even with that, it will certainly be supported by the software for a few more years, but the iPad Air will definitely last longer.

In addition, the iPad Air is lighter and significantly thinner, despite a slightly larger display just as compact (narrower edges) and has a better and above all fully laminated display (ie without air gap under the glass, which is writing with the Apple Pencil or typing makes it much easier on the display).

Regarding support for Apple Pencil and Logitech Crayon, as well as keyboards (via Smart connector or Bluetooth), there's no difference between the two.

If you like spending more, of course, a recent iPad Pro would be the best choice. Whereby there will probably be new models in early 2020.

Ro

Thank you, there are some arguments that I would not otherwise have paid attention to

Ro

Thank you, the Pro is also extremely expensive aaaber hammer.
