Would the Corona short-time work allowance of 60% be enough for you?

If that orders your company because of the virus? That's only 60% …

after deducting all running costs (apartment, internet, electricity, cell phone, Netflix, …) would still be exactly 300 euro a month for food, clothing and fun. Would be scarce, but I would definitely survive. And you?

I live in Switzerland, where the short-time work allowance is a little over 80%. Normally that would not be enough for me, because I'm (voluntarily) already at the minimum because of part-time work. But I still have reserves, so it would work.

Clothing and fun are dropped at the moment as well

You don't need Neflix (it also counts as fun)

And also on the mobile phone tariff you might have to look where you can cut

It is a matter of opinion. If you can only sit at home 80% of the time, it would be helpful to have access to it.

And also on the mobile phone tariff you might have to look where you can cut

Could be difficult with long-term contracts.

I had to deal with this question primarily on the entrepreneurial side, it is a terribly difficult situation.

Because this question has to be asked for the weakest employee in the company, will he get along?

We agreed, fortunately unanimously, that we would not expect any of our employees to do this and continue to pay the salaries in full. For such times we have made reserves and if necessary I pay something privately to the company, but now I have the opportunity to express my thanks to the employees.

Unfortunately, there are many companies that do not have this option, whether they want it or not.

I'm not employed, but if I took an average of my income - regardless of my assets - which is partly meaningless because I'm neither a worker nor an employee, I would still have too much available - and especially quarted time!

Yes, I saved beforehand and as long as the money is still worth it I have no problem and the costs for fun are reduced because we're no longer allowed to do so thanks to our federal government and the link also tells you why.

Great employer, there are certainly many who would now like to be employed in your company
