Audio description?

I have been wondering that for a long time, so if you change the language on netflix then it usually says in brackets [original] but often the same language is above the original and then it says -audiodescription. But what's the difference? Is the audio quality better with one than the other?

I think that was the function for the blind. There's a narrator who tells the story or what the characters are doing.
