How can I download apps to a Macbook Air?

I have a Macbook Air and just wanted to download Netflix in the app store but could not find it there. I noticed that I could not find many other apps and games in the App Store. I'm already registered, so it can't be, but still it does not work. Have I overlooked anything or forgotten to set? Would be nice if you answer me. Maybe you know what it is.

Because there are not many apps like Netflix for MacBooks. Is with me so then you just have to go to Google or Safari and just as Netflix
