Should I buy a MacBook Air with an M1?

I need a new laptop, but I just can't decide whether it should be a macbook or a Dell device with Windows.

The new Air convinces me with the battery life, performance, speed, … Everything totally, but I just don't know if I can be happy with it if Windows is not running on the device. I know that it is possible to install Office or even split the hard drive (which I don't intend to do), but what if I just want to download an app from Microsoft such as Skype, Spotify, Netflix,… The?! Because the new MacBooks no longer have a boot camp that translated the programs beforehand.

On the other hand, I already own an iPhone and an iPad with which I'm super satisfied and I could also use AirDrop and iCloud super. So would you recommend the Air M1 even if it has only been on the market since November 2020 and is therefore not yet confirmed in its longevity?

If I were you, I would buy a Mac Book Air with an M1.

you will certainly get used to MacOS quickly and get along with it.

There's an app store on macs, where you will find the programs you need.
