I now have a basic subscription.
And before that, HD quality because I got the 11.99 trial month automatically. I selected basic subscription at the beginning, but then there was a gift from Netflix. They automatically have 30 days of Netflix in HD quality and then it switches.
And a few days ago I was able to choose whether I want to keep the standard but I chose basis.
And somehow I see little difference in quality, is that because we have a Smart TV?
Many junk-class televisions have such a bad picture that HD quality hardly looks better than SD. (Example 4K TV from Aldi a few years ago. Has a 4K picture that was worse than the HD picture of a branded TV)
It is also the case that streaming services usually do not send the full HD resolution anyway. If the line speed is not high enough, the quality drops to SD even when the HD is ordered.
In many US series (Big Band Theory) there's usually a filter over it or there's no depth of field. That is on purpose.
This is a full hd brand device
The cheapest China TV is also a brand.
But it is not a cheap device.
I couldn't tell the difference with my old TV either. Only when I bought the new 4K TV did I notice a difference. The image resolution is also completely different:-) just great
How old was television?
That was a Grundig and it was bought in 2011 in the Media Markt
OK ours is not 2 years old
