Unzwar I would like to watch a series on Netflix in English to improve my English. The best would be a series that I have already seen and not so long is so nothing now with 50 thousand squadrons and such. My question is now whether you can look for example riverdale well in English because eg Pll it me too long or Marvel with the daredevil, Jessica Jones and so that is all synonymous iwie together and is too much for me
or anyone else has ideas for series that you can look good in English?
Yes, you can change the language. In the bar below where play, pause etc are on the right there's a speech bubble. There you can select all available languages and subtitles.
Also I like to watch shows after I have seen them in German again in English, sometimes in French. For starters, I would advise you to choose a series that has short episodes.
Riverdale has episodes that go on for over 40 minutes, I think it's a bit too long to start with, and you're in danger of losing your appetite. Because you can feel overwhelmed quickly.
There's also the possibility to use subtitles. But I find subtitles stupid, because I'm a person who is too distracted by it.
My tip would be to look at other things in English, the episodes are half as long as Riverdale. If you get along with shorter series and feel safe, then I would wind up with you for longer things in your stead.
How about movies in English. Often the individual dialogues are even more memorable, if you have seen them in German before.
Truly easy, for example, I found tributes of Panem - Hunger Games or Chronicles of the Underworld (or the series: Shadowhunters)
If you have problems, because the actors z.b. To speak a bit indistinct, I recommend you to turn on ENGLISH and no German subtitles. If it is in German, then you focus automatically only on the German.
