Do you have to download Netflix to watch something?

Today some friends come to me and we want to watch Netflix amongst others. I do not have Netflix myself. One of my friends takes her password. My question is if I have to download the app or if she can also log in online.

On the PC you can also use the website, without download.

It depends on where you want to see it. You can simply log in on the pc. On the phone you can as far as I know just log on to the website but I would recommend you to download the app.
