Which device is optimal for my case?

Who am I?
I'm 20, finished high school and start my apprenticeship in August. The training is in the field of media design digital and print. I currently own a Lenovo with 8GB of RAM, and i5 processor. The device is okay, but I slowly realize that I need an upgrade. So I'm looking for a new device.

What is important to me?
I'm looking for a device that is rather optimized for professional purposes. Of course, I would like to watch Netflix, or surf the Internet etc, but for gaming I already have a PlayStation 4 and I'm fine with it. So my future device should definitely be good for my work. That means I plan to work with Adobe a lot with my device. That means primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Then Premiere Pro is also to use, since I should edit teasers and trailers from time to time.

The device should also be pleasant to type in, as I will eventually write many documentations, briefings, etc. Presentations, elaborations etc. Are to be considered.

How much money do I want to spend?
First of all, the money is not important to me. I'm willing to pay up to 3,000 euro, although I know that the product is optimal and that my work can work well for a longer period of time. Experience in the operating system
I'm mainly a Windows kid. I grew up with Windows and know me there super. In the last three years in high school, I worked with macOS at school and I really liked the operating system. So the operating system for me is not an offense.

My future vocational school, as well as my future operation, are both MacOS users. That means I'll be working with Apple on both occasions.

Now an unfair comparison, but in the desktop area and DIY you would even get NEN more powerful for around 450 euro and one of the worse things is the memory that Apple sells for horrendous buzz, so 250 GB more, which is actually only 50 euro it is simply 10x at Apple.

I would take a device on macOS basis because if you want to work PRODUKTIV etc is simply the best. The operating system is designed to work and perform at vir all we do Photoshop

To what extent can a vocational school be a MacOS user?
Are there only computers from Apple?

Yes, the school has exclusive Apple products.

That's a pity. You could connect with the XPS also over Thunderbolt 3 your devices, but would be strange if you are the only one with Windows. Otherwise, the XPS would probably be a good alternative.

That does not mean that you have to spend 3000 euro for the MBP.
