Hello dear Netflix friends and connoisseurs
After careful consideration, I'm about to get a Netflix subscription, but still waver between standard subscription and basic subscription. What means I can only watch Netflix on one device in the basic subscription? Is this a general restriction to be able to connect only one device to the Netflix subscription, or does it only refer to being able to stream only with one device at time x and not several at the same time? Due to my studies, I regularly commute between my parents' house and my dorm and of course would like to use my subscription no matter where I'm. Would that be possible with the basic subscription or would I have to forcibly use the standard subscription to be able to use Netflix both on my TV at home and with my parents?
Only referring to the fact that you can't use it on two devices at the same time. That If you are watching something no one else can use your Netflix at the time. Can you still log on to several laptops, etc? The base abo is enough for you so completely.
At the base package, only one can stream at the same time, but multiple devices can be linked. If your family is looking, and you will not go at the same time. But when they do, you can look again. I recommend to take the standard package, because of the resolution. If you are not interested in the resolution, then the basic package.
You will not be able to watch netflix on the PC and at the same time another person will be watching netflix via mobile.
So only one device. I watched the PC during the day and then on TV late at night.
Now I have extended my subscription and my wife and I can watch something on different devices at the same time, but it also costs 3 euro more per month.
Base costs 7.99 euro, standard (two devices) 10.99 euro and premium 13.99 euro for 4 devices.
