How many watts do you need? My kettle needs e.g. 1000 watts so 1 kilowatt. A TV needs an estimated 80 watts. In contrast to the TV, it only runs for a few minutes.
Refrigerators run permanently. TVs maybe 2 hours a day…

Let's just assume that half the day would be half of half of the calendar day. So 6 hours.
Now let's just say that the television and its player are e.g. Fire tv box etc. Needs 150 watts. That's a lot. Then that's 150 watt times 6 hours, i.e. Around 900 watt hours or, in other words, 0.9 kilowatt hours. Let's say at an average labor price of 28 cents per kwh that would be around 25 cents. A little less.
