Since I was little I have had the problem that I can't sit or lie still. I always have to do something on the side. When I'm lying in bed and watching Netflix, I'm mostly on the phone even though I don't need it, simply because I still want something to do. At school, I usually wiggle my leg or play with a pen. I would not say that I have a poor concentration or that I'm very much looking for attention.
Does anyone know what that is or what I can do about it, because it annoys me a lot.
That sounds like inner restlessness at first and that in turn can have many causes. Hyperthyroidism could be an issue, but it can also simply be a period of stress in your life that leads to the overactivity. As always, if things don't get better, going to the doctor may be the better solution.
That helps me.
