I urgently need help, since I really have no idea about this topic myself and unfortunately no one who could help me.
It's about my TV. I only moved into my first apartment of my own today. I've had my TV for a long time, but so far I've only used it for Netflix. Now I would also like to be able to watch TV normally. My TV is a Telefunken SmartTv. Unfortunately I do not know the exact description of the model. I know (unfortunately only because I discovered a satellite dish on the roof of the apartment building) that I must have received television via satellite. Right? 🤔
So today I bought a cable, which I screwed onto the satellite connection of the Buxe in my living room and the LNB connection of my TV. And from then on I stand on the tube. I've already gone through a few menu items on my TV. I did a channel scan, but then the device informed me that I had not found any channels. Once I was so far (I don't know how I got there) that many channels were shown to me, but once I selected them to watch, my device showed me "no signal".
I really have no idea in this area and urgently ask for help and a step-by-step explanation of what to do 🙏
I used to need a receiver and a parabola antenna then it worked wonderfully after I set it up on a German program
If your TV does not have an integrated receiver, then you need one.
Google → TV satellite receiver
Apparently you have already done everything necessary.
Every television actually has a function where it shows the signal strength and signal quality. There you will see if anything is received at all.
It has a built-in receiver
I would just knock on a neighbor's house tomorrow. They usually have the same problem and have often already solved it.
Because a satellite dish on the roof can also belong to a neighbor.
What do the neighbors say?
