What do you say about Netflix?

All my friends always say "Oh, I couldn't live without Netflix anymore" but what could be so great about it? I honestly don't understand. What do you find so great about it, or do you think it's great at all?

I'm not a fan of series. Kp why. But yeah that's why I never watched Netflix haha

Complete waste of money is usually free to find everything there's on Netflix and Netflix is going down the drain anyway because they will not stay afloat financially in the future.

I see no problem in using illegal sites.

It's definitely good to watch a few films, but I personally don't need all these series

For me, video on demand has revolutionized television. I can look at what I want instead of having to choose the least evil from a mass pre-selection of 30 options. And the crime scene and musicians' bar are already included. The disadvantage is that you have to choose and it can take a long time to look through, but I don't mind.

Series in particular have become so worth seeing for me. In the past you started in the middle of it, had to wait a week for cliff hangers and either had to do your weekly planning according to the telly or missed something. And today I start with the first episode and watch my pace exactly. When I have time. I also like the concept of telling a story through a series because it simply leaves a lot more time (e.g. Rome or Game of Thrones) compared to a long trilogy.

What is different about your illegal film consumption!

Good quality (usually bad quality on illegal sites), if you share it with friends not that expensive, no advertising, you can stop and start again when you want and you can choose what you watch (on TV eg not possible), you can select language and subtitles. I also think YouTube is great, but you also have to pay for films etc. There I only watch documentaries or any videos. No films.
