Whenever I watch a film on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, I use the Galaxy Buds Plus as headphones.
But I have a problem with the Buds +, which annoys me very much. In fact, the sound of the Buds + always turns briefly quiet. I really can't explain why. So far I've only noticed this in films. It didn't matter whether I saw the film on Netflix, Disney + or in the Samsung video player. I haven't noticed that while listening to music or watching YouTube. That the sound in films always turns briefly quiet (like such a disturbance), but seems to happen more in quiet scenes. As soon as the actors speak again, the sound is usually loud again.
It always annoys me a lot, because it sounds like you are playing the volume control all the time (this makes watching movies inedible).
I wonder now whether that's because of the Buds + or my S20 Ultra. If I use the AKG earphones included with the S20 (or the cell phone speakers), this problem does not occur.
Incidentally, I've already tried everything imaginable: reset Galaxy Buds, update the wearable app, update the buds, update my S20, deactivate all unnecessary functions in the wearable app (e.g. Bass boost, game mode) etc. But none of this worked.
I just do not know how to go on. Does anyone happen to have any idea what that is and what can be done about it?
This could be a technical error with your model!
Have them repaired or replace them. If necessary, you can go to a Samsung store and get advice. You are best advised there because you are certainly not an isolated case!
That sounds like an automatic volume adjustment as it is also the case with televisions because it means volume leveling.
Do you have the Samsung Sound Assistant app on your smartphone? If so then check that there's such an attitude for it
I have now got the app. The only setting that sounds a bit fanatic would be the item "Changing the volume for steps". Do I have to change something by accident? You can use a slider to select the step to adjust the rate at which the volume is changed. The regulator goes from 1 to 10 for me (you can't turn it off or on). What do I have to do now?
