I have a habit that has not let go of me for years, and actually it's annoying. I'm a passionate gamer, but have a problem, which really beats me! As soon as I play a game, I MUST run something on the side. Be it a YouTube video, a podcast, a movie or a series, I can't play games without it!
You have to imagine it this way: I start a game, and directly get a real urge to look a bit on the side because I just can't focus on the game, why is that with me, and how do I get that path?
In the long run that is of course annoying, of course!

Computer games, chatting on the phone on Snapchat or Insta and incidentally with my Ipad series, YT etc. Look
For me, the television is also running throughout. No matter if I gamble a bit, work on the PC or do anything else in the apartment. Is just the way. I also need some duds in the background. Often it's just music TV or news.
Okay, so I'm not the only one.
I always have something on the run, no matter what I do or play. It is getting stressful, I can't omit it anyway.
Yes, I just have to sprinkle something on the side, otherwise I'll go crazy. I do not even pay attention to the video / the movie, very funny!
I do not look / hear next to the game, because otherwise I can't focus on the game at all - I'm the complete opposite of mulitastking.
So pretty much the opposite of you… Maybe it will help you later in life, to be able to focus on several things at the same time, maybe you've already considered your "problem" from this perspective
Jo, it just annoys me slowly, because I really stop 10min before I play games, I pick out a podcast or something, and if there's nothing, it takes even longer: /
Also, but I still have the problem that I'm watching and playing something. When I get something interesting, I look and unfortunately not the next 30 minutes away.
No, from this perspective I have not seen the whole thing yet, but now that you say it makes sense! I'm currently doing my high school diploma and will most likely look for a job in the direction of 3D programming sometime after school. Whether multitasking is so convenient there, I can't say right now!
Livestreams are also very handy, you can either listen or watch!
For many livestreams you can't to my joy unfortunately not break.
I also mean more livestreams that have already been there, so you can easily pause and rewind! That's how I always do it. I also do not watch live livestreams while I play something!
