Cinema vs Streaming - If Corona were over. Cinema or Netflix etc?

I'm currently writing a specialist thesis on the subject of "Conflict between cinema and streaming services" and my key question is whether Corona will ensure a final switch from cinema to streaming services; So whether this means the end for the cinema.

… And we're supposed to start one or more polls that I need your help now. :

If Corona were over, really, really completely gone, would no longer exist (and the cinemas have not yet gone bankrupt) …

Would you go to the cinema again or would you prefer to watch films relaxed from home, on Netlix and the like? Or do both, depending on what's going on. Or maybe you do neither and prefer to watch TV?

Preferably always with reasons. That would help me the most.

I'm looking forward to the results…

I love streaming at home.

The cinema is just absurdly expensive, way too much time to get there, often you can't even park well there, the sound is often too loud for me, the other viewers are often loud and annoying. The constant wasting time on advertising is also bad.

Streaming is great. Your own chips and sweets, your own drinks, maybe a great homemade snack in between, your own toilet, everything much faster, cleaner, more hygienic, cheaper.

I don't need a cinema anymore.

But I would think it would be good if streaming services like Amazon Prime would also bring current movies and not lag behind.

I would love to go to the cinema again.

It's something you don't do every day and the atmosphere is something special there. When you go to the cinema and the smell of popcorn comes towards you is enchanting and the screen and sound are special too.

You can always watch something at home, but in the cinema it's a completely different experience.

I generally prefer to look at home, for a variety of reasons.

On the one hand, I like to drink something with it and then inevitably have to go to the toilet more often. When I drink, I smoke too. I don't eat all the stuff you get in the cinema.

At home I don't have any pimply amoebas in my broken voice, who laugh at every single scene and don't always have to do the same adolescent jokes to me. ("Haha, Haha film over", as soon as the lights come on again after the advertisement).

Some things can hardly be seen in 2D, which I hate. In addition, I have it at home almost like in a small home theater, as far as picture and sound are concerned, so that matters even less to me.

And since I download everything and most of the movies are now available at or shortly after release in perfect quality as Weprip, there's simply no reason for me.

I have been to the cinema an estimated 3 times in the last 15 years. 😅

Um

The cinemas never had to be closed.
There's not a single case of infection in the cinema because the hygiene concept and the ventilation worked.

I will both go to the cinema and continue to use streaming.

Many Thanks.

By far the most films do not interest me so much that they would go to the cinema for them if you were to go to the program cinema. I can't do much with all the umpteen sequels, superhero films and remakes. The cinema has also become quite expensive, especially the drinks and snacks, even if you can leave them out.
