I'm watching the movie "Call Me By Your Name" on Netflix.
In any case, I watch German with subtitles because they often speak in Italian.
In any case, what strikes me about the subtitles (the text spoken in German) is that they differ from what was said.
E.g. If someone says yes, the subtitles will say Safe. Or instead of beautiful, it says wonderful. Or finally grow up, see you at midnight, then instead says: grow up. We meet at midnight
Why is that?
No big difference.
It depends on the synchronization.
