Do I have to watch The Flash to understand Supergirl Level 2?

I started Supergirl and reached level 2, episode 8. At the end of the episode there was a big "To be continued with the flash". Do I have to watch this to understand the other episodes Supergirl? If yes, where? Because that's not available on Netflix.

You don't really have to watch Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, Legends of Tommorow, Lucifer, Constantine etc. Just for the special episodes.
