Is netflix basis worth it?

I'm thinking about getting a netflix base. But HD is not available. Is this a problem? So is the quality very bad then?

I would not do any more SD, HD is really a minimum.

Netflix SD should (according to the Internet) be between 480p and a little further below 720p.

But go to YouTube and choose 480p, make full screen, then see how it will be on Netflix (maybe a little better on Netflix)

This depends on the size of the playback device and the distance between the seats. For me the quality is sufficient.
