How much money do you need to live well (in training)?

I'll be off soon and I would be interested in how much income you can lead a good life with. (For the time being / in training)

For the apartment with fixed and variable, this adds up to 850-900 euro.

At first I don't plan to buy a car. I don't go on vacation or spend a lot of money on clothes. I spend most of my money on fitness, nutrition, gaming and streaming or subscriptions. (Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Netflix…)

Of course I know that there are people who get by with very little money, some even only with their training salary. But I would like to keep my expenses.

I would be very happy about testimonials and estimates.

You have to calculate around 10 euro per day for everything you need for daily life.

The assessment of "living well" is extremely subjective, i.e. There's a huge range of this comfortable area.

people of high society need $ 10,000 a day, other people can manage with 5 euro.

wh

I don't know where you live, but the apartment shouldn't cost more than 450 euro warm.

For a decent life / food, clothing, mobility, communication you need another 500 euro.

Streaming, fitness studio, going out are absolute luxury items for trainees that you should practically only pay for what you saved in the previous month.

As a trainee, you can live properly on 1000 euro.

If you no longer live with your parents, you are still entitled to child benefit.

And if you do live there, you can easily contribute something from the trainee's salary to the household.

Back then, in my first year of apprenticeship, I got along well with just under 800 euro. But the apartment only cost 350 € and I didn't subscribe to any streaming services and I don't go to the gym. In addition, I didn't have a mobile phone contract, just a prepaid card, which I topped up with 15 euro a month. And I can use public transport for free.
At the time, however, I spent an unnecessarily large amount of money on food.

Unfortunately it does not stand. Tried to apply for it, but it doesn't work with a residence permit. Am a migrant.

wh

Seriously, if your bodybuilding is more important to you than an apartment, then so be it.

I would try to share the apartment with someone.

Ca

I know that a few years ago the apartment was not rented out at exorbitant prices. Nowadays you can get a broom closet for 350. XD

But what should you do, demand determines the price.

Vo

That was only three years ago. 😉
But was also in a small town and it was 1 room and 35 square meters.

If you have less than 850 euro net, you can still apply for vocational training allowance (BAB). At the employment agency.

Ca

No, everything is fine, thank you. My mother pays for the apartment and I get around 1,200 euro gross from the training.
