Which TV to buy to watch mobile phone without Wi-Fi (Netflix)?

My question probably sounds awkward. I would like to buy a second-hand TV, my wish is to watch Netflix. But: I don't have Wi-Fi and actually I don't plan to have one. With my mobile phone contract, I have a streaming flat rate, so I can watch Netflix without limits. I also have a Fire Tv cube. Now to my question. Is it possible to connect my cell phone (iPhone 8) to any "normal" TV without Wi-Fi using the things I own, or do I have to invest in a smart TV and Wi-Fi?

You can also use the Amazon Fire STick that you plug into an HDMI port on the TV.

You can activate hotspot on your mobile phone and you have Wi-Fi on the TV. However, the GB will then be deducted from your mobile phone tariff.

First of all:

I don't know, don't know about apples. As is well known, they run differently. With my cell phone it would be a jack from usb c to hdmi. Finished.

Maybe there's something suitable in the Apple warehouse, lg

The answer may sound simpler than you might at first think.

But for a broadcast stick like the Amazon Fire TV Cube in your case, no special TV is necessary, the only thing the TV needs to have is an HDMI connection to transmit the signal.

Set up the Amazon Fire TV Cube accordingly and connect it to your own Wi-Fi, which in your case is a hotspot via iPhone 8. So that it always connects automatically, it would be appropriate not to come up with a new W-Lan name or password every time, because this is the only way it will automatically connect to the given network again and again.

So you don't have to pay for a landline contract or buy an additional television and everything works with the means that are already available.
