I bought a Chromcast with which you can stream e.g. Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc. But I don't have a Wi-Fi router and when setting up it says I need a Wi-Fi network and then I tried it via a mobile phone hotspot. I turned on my cell phone hotspot but it didn't work (which I thought before.)
The cell phone is like a remote control, you need it to transfer things to the television… So my question is:
Whether there's a possibility that the Chromcast can connect to my cell phone hotspot. I don't understand why it shouldn't work, I use my hotspot so I can stream and share it with the Chromcast. If I had Wi-Fi now, I would have to connect my cell phone and Chromcast to the same Wi-Fi. That says when setting up that the cell phone and the Chromcast must be connected to the same network.
Thank you for reading it openly you know what I mean and someone can help me
Here you will find the info again and again while reading. Only with Wi-Fi. Sure you are right. It should also go via mobile, but it just doesn't do it.
