Friend pissed off about anniversary?

So, I (M / 14) celebrated our one year old with my boyfriend (M / 13) on Easter Sunday, I gave him a pack of chocolates, we watched Netflix and it was all chilled… Until I mentioned that I was meet someone today. From then on the mood was rather tense… Then he left at some point, was pretty pissed off. In the meantime we've made up again, but that's still going through my head, I just kind of messed up our anniversary… Was he jealous? What do you think? When asked why he was so pissy, he just said that he had a stressful day… Or am I just worrying too much?

If you're already celebrating the anniversary, you shouldn't be seeing someone else on that day. This shows him that he is not very important to you

I don't think he was / is jealous. He was probably just looking forward to the day together with you / expected that you would spend the entire day together.

You only spend the anniversary with your partner. Every other day, you can do something with others, but it's your day, nobody else. He was probably disappointed

At 13 you don't have stressful days

Clear. School, homework, dentist, shopping. All in one day. Phew, that stressed me out hard at this age.

Well, you usually only spend the anniversary as a couple and do something nice and enjoy the time together and don't meet up with others. You can do that on any other day. I don't think it was jealousy, just disappointment because he imagined the day differently and thought you would spend it together.
